Liverpool defender Daniel Agger enjoyed the Reds' 1-0 win over neighbours Everton at the weekend and now wants the team to maintain their good form against Arsenal  on Wednesday night.
In particular, the Dane wants to see a repeat of the kind of attitude and character that the side displayed against the Toffees.

"It was enjoyable but it was just three points," the 25-year-old told the Reds' official website.

"It was what we needed. We are fighting for fourth place and we got there but we'll just keep looking at every game.

"The physical challenge was good and was what we expected. It's all part of derby games. It was a tough game but we did well. We were well organised and when that is the case it's easier [to win].

"Everybody in the team has got the right attitude and we want to show that every time we go on the pitch. Now we want to get a good result at Arsenal.

"That is the most important thing. Arsenal are a good team but every week it is tough. We need to go with the same attitude we showed against Everton and see where it takes us."

Agger was sidelined for four games recently with a groin injury. He is optimistic now that his injury problems are behind him though.

"It has been annoying. I've done my best trying to play but it has been really difficult," he added.

"If you have something you can't play with even if you try you know you are not 100 per cent.

"It is so frustrating but you have to accept it is part of the game even though my injuries have not been that many, just big."
